From the moment you arrive you’ll be greeted by people who are genuinely happy to see you. Sunday services are designed to be enjoyed, and not endured, offering Bible-based messages that are engaging and relevant to people today. It’s a casual and friendly environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can belong.
What time are your church services?
We gather every Sunday for our family-friendly service at 10:45am.
Where is First Baptist located?
Our address is 3659 Lauderdale Rd. in Lauderdale, MS. We are approx 10 NE of Meridian, just off the Hwy 45 corridor.
How long is church?
About 60-75 minutes. Stay after the service to connect and enjoy some good conversation with your new friends.
Car parking?
There is ample free off-street parking available close to the church auditorium. Take a look at the bird’s eye view of our campus to find the best parking spot for your family. Ushers will meet you at the doors to point you in the right direction to the nursery, Bible study class, or to your seat in worship.
Can I bring my kids to church?
Absolutely. We have a dedicated SS classes at 9:30 and then Children’s Church at 10:45am. There is also a fully staffed nursery for the babies and toddlers in your family. If your children are uncomfortable being separated from you, they are totally welcome in our regular worship service. A little movement and noise won’t bother us.
Anything for teens?
Of course! Our teens meet on Sundays at 9:30am for a regular Bible Study together, and then again on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for another fun filled evening complete with snacks and an activity.
What do I wear?
We want you to feel at ease and wear whatever you’re comfortable in. We usually dress casually. Jeans and t-shirts, shorts, 3 piece business suit…it’s all up to you. We come to worship the God of Creation, and just ask that you bring your best to offer to Him!
Can I volunteer?
Yes. There are plenty of opportunities to serve others and make a difference.
Can I watch online?
Yes. Our services are streamed live every Sunday beginning at 10:40am on our Facebook page.
What’s the music like?
We enjoy live music as part of our worship to God. Our family-friendly morning services are mix of modern and traditional, exciting but not noisy. If you have any medical conditions, you’ll appreciate that our lighting won’t trigger a response.
