Ways to Give
Online Giving
In Person
We encourage you to set up an automated giving schedule. Our online giving portal lets you easily set up a recurring gift with your debit card, credit card, or checking account.
You can give during the offering at any one of our services. If you would like a receipt for your offering, please make sure it is a check, or that you provide us with your name and address on the offering envelope.
By Mail
Bill Pay
You can mail your gift to the First Baptist office at 3659 Lauderdale Rd., Lauderdale MS 39335.
If your financial institution has a bill pay service you can add First Baptist Church of Lauderdale to your list of payees, setting the amount and date of your gift. The bank automatically writes and sends your check to First Baptist.
Why do we give?
Giving is an act of worship and is a practice in our life where we can faithfully proclaim the Gospel. We don’t give to earn God’s favor or out of obligation; rather, giving flows from a heart that worships Jesus. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. God doesn’t need our gifts, resources, or energy, but He gives them to us so that we might use them to actively pursue the mission that He’s given His church to make disciples. When we give generously, God is glorified, our hearts are transformed, and lives are changed in Mississippi and around the world.
What does your giving support?
Your tithes and gifts are vital to the everyday ministry that takes place in and through First Baptist. Your tithes go to areas of ministry including our kids and student ministries, counseling services, missionary and church plant support as well as the costs of running these ministries including building maintenance and staff salaries. We ask that you would prayerfully consider how God is leading you to give.
